What the design targets

Proposed path: the stack of paper a job actually is.

The design organizes templates by job phase and proposes reviewed market letterhead and state-clause configuration; final-beta evidence must prove which template and authority produced each document.

Fields are classified as AUTO, CONSTANT, or COLLECT so evaluation can verify what may be prepared and what requires input. Signature fields must remain empty until an authorized person acts, and uncertain inbound classifications must route to human review. No per-envelope savings or production e-sign claim is made here.

Release check: prepare documents from the record while signatures remain human actions.

A sheet, and the line at the bottom.

Letterhead by market · clauses by state · specimen

A contract assembles itself on a blank sheet. Of 18 fields on the template, 9 are typed AUTO and are filled from the job record; 4 are typed CONSTANT and are inked in as clauses required by the state; and 5 are typed COLLECT — fields the system does not know and will not guess, so they print as ruled empty boxes and stay empty until a person answers them. The wet-signature rule at the foot of the sheet is not a field at all, has no class, and is never pre-filled.

The final-beta way to judge Document Engine is to evaluate its design against work you have already completed, then record what the evidence supports, where it differs, and what remains unproved.
